Domestic affair
A QATARI woman has filed for divorce after she discovered that her husband has married her Asian maid and been living with her secretly for over a year.
Though she protested and wanted to deport the maid, the husband refused, according to a newspaper report.
Among the reasons given by the husband for marrying the maid was that she has the qualities of a perfect home-maker.
Shocker in the salad
SEVERAL customers at a local restaurant were shocked to find insects in the lettuce served with the salad.
“When they brought the matter to the attention of the owner of the restaurant, he claimed that such insects are a natural part of the lettuce,” a report said.
‘Con’jugal trickster
POLICE have taken into custody a man who duped a Qatari woman by claiming to be able to help her have better conjugal relations with her husband by using a talisman bearing verses of the Holy Qur’an.
A report said the woman had over a period of time paid him QR15,000 and he had been demanding more.

I was more impressed that the man chose his maid since she's got the "qualities of a perfect home-maker". That's why Steve married me!
